Photography & Poetry

I take most of the photos in my articles; these are samples of my work

Two months in Munich
Around Every Corner
History Unfolds

Rick Steves' radio program read my haiku about Munich in August 2022. I wrote the poem during my fellowship at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment & Society (a joint initiative of Ludwig Maximilian University and the Deutsches Museum).

We joined Calista
Destination: Moorea
Dolphins leapt with joy

This haiku (above) appeared in my article "Tahiti Temptation," Sailing Magazine (April/May 2023). My husband Frank and I cruised with family in French Polynesia on Calista, a Leopard 46 catamaran.
